This includes our signature wash process, a 1-2 stage paint correction depending on vehicle condition (even new vehicles may need a multi stage correction and wet sanding in extreme cases), application of your selected Paint Protection Film package, and respective IGL Coating.

Koenig’s Detailing began as a passion project of founder Eric Koenig’s in the summer of 2017. Paint correcting vehicles became his obsession, while simultaneously the detailing world was having an explosion with new techniques and technologies. Paint Protection Film and Ceramic Coatings were quickly evolving and becoming a standard. Koenig’s Detailing adopted and innovated these mediums from the onset, and began providing mobile detailing services to the Philadelphia and greater areas out of the back of various 80’s and 90’s era Mercedes-Benz station wagons.
Today, Koenig’s Detailing operates from a state of the art 6,000+ square foot facility in Hatboro, PA and employs a small team of detailing and paint correction experts. We are car enthusiasts at heart. If we aren’t in the shop, we’re probably out cruising around, getting coffee, or at an IMSA race. We still offer mobile services, though we’ve traded our beloved Mercedes wagon fleet for more practical commercial setups.
Paint correction and ceramic coatings go hand in hand in the modern detailing world. Anytime you polish a vehicle, you are removing a small bit of clearcoat or paintwork. Our goal with each paint correction is to determine the minimum cutting process for the maximum result on your car’s paint.
We’ve honed our process over the years to provide a minimal contact, maximum efficacy approach to your vehicles paint. We use a paint-depth meter prior to the process to ensure we can learn as much about the vehicle’s history before we begin.
After each correction, we apply a select IGL Coating to assure not only a maximum shine, but ease of cleaning which means less abrasion during washes and a paint job that impresses.
